At Franklin's Farm, we don't just sell quality, hand-harvested farm products. Franklin's Farm is much more than that. It all started with one, beloved hard working man - Franklin Marshburn.
Born in 1942 in a small eastern NC community, Franklin's life circumstances made it so he had to become a man fast ... his dad died when he was only 14 years old, leaving him to care for his mother, grandmother and the family farm at a ripe young age.
Raised with virtue and values of farm life, Franklin developed intense generosity and dedication that established the very foundation Franklin's Farm is built upon today.
Gathered and packaged by hand, we handle and deliver all of our products with the same care Franklin took with every task he tackled throughout his life.
To honor Franklin's legacy of generosity, we donate a large portion of our sales to The Autism Society of North Carolina. Having a grandson afflicted with autism, Franklin understood the heart-wrenching struggles autism brings to families.
That's why we're seizing the opportunity to help in any way we can ... it's simply what Franklin would have done if he were here today.
