We're donating a large portion of our sales to The Autism Society of North Carolina as a way to honor Franklin and everything he stood for.

Having a grandson afflicted with autism, he was well-aware of the hardships families with autistic children face and the overwhelming gratitude they feel when someone steps in to lend a hand.

Several parents of autistic children came together in 1970 to form the Autism Society of North Carolina. The parents, including JoAnn Jeffries, Betty Camp, and Mary Lou "Bobo" Warren, refused to accept that their children were unable to attend school or participate in community activities because of their disability.

The organization was founded by parents with the goal of exchanging information, offering mutual support, and overall improving the lives of all children in the state who are afflicted with Autism. This group laid the groundwork for the services and supports that families and individuals afflicted with Autism now have.
